Just Stop: A Brief Guide To Rational Thought For The Modern Conspiracy Theorist (English Edition)

Beschreibung Just Stop: A Brief Guide To Rational Thought For The Modern Conspiracy Theorist (English Edition). Originally intended to be a series of articles on conspiracy theories, debunking investigations, and how not to be fooled by the internet, the information grew too rapidly to be contained by the website. It was decided that it would work better as a small book. In this work, Ross Elder, the conspiracy debunking author of The Fireman Saga series, gives the reader a few tips that will aid them in their attempts to verify information they encounter on today's conspiracy-laden social media. Being a skeptic, basic investigative practices, and some general guidelines for determining legitimacy are covered in the six chapters of Just Stop. The goal of this work is to encourage people to "just stop" for a few minutes and do some basic research before they share and perpetuate unfounded rumor and falsehoods across the internet.
