For those who are not familiar, the Zapruder film is a silent homemade motion picture made by Abraham Zapruder of the assassination while he stood on a concrete pedestal on Elm Street. There has been hundreds of thousands of pages of documents written about it and it had been sort of the Holy Grail concerning photographic evidence of the Kennedy assassination. The Z film was purchased by Life Magazine and hidden away for decades. It was not until the Assassination Records Review Board started studying and interviewing people about the film that it came to light that there is considerable evidence that the film was altered. The American people were never told that copies of the Z film had been sent to a CIA lab. The Zupruder film we see today is much different than the film of those who had observed the original. This investigation traces the copies made of the Z film and shows clear and convincing evidence that the film we see today is an alteration.8 ½ X 11, 40 pages.
